After four months the restoration to Our Lady of Mt Carmel is completed. The exterior has been restored to its original beauty. William Munro was the architect and although the church has never been finished, the beauty of the sandstone and other original features highlights the work of this great architect.
A new mural has been painted to celebrate the 100th anniversary of death of Servant of God Eileen O’Connor. The mural is painted on the wall facing Elizabeth Street Waterloo at the place where Eileen attended Mass and school. …
